Game 7: vs New York Knickerbockers

The Good: From a Spurs fans perspective, all 48 minutes of the 120-89 demolition. We played great team defense, particularly Boris Diaw on Carmelo Anthony. Have I mentioned that I am loving Diaw this year?

Great game from Danny Green. His long range shooting and work on the boards was impressive.

The Bad: Not much to complain about. Kawhi Leonard didn’t start this one, Pop went with Marco Belinelli instead. No word on the explanation, perhaps it was purely a matchup thing with the Knicks. Whatever, in Pop we trust.

The Knicks are a mess. It’s the second time I’ve seen them this year (I caught the game vs Bulls) and they were much better in that game (granted they had Tyson Chandler), but tonight they played with no effort, energy or hustle. They’re play hard for short stretches but never put together consistent effort on defense. The Spurs were able to exploit it easily.

The Ugly: Aside from the Knicks game, it’s a tie between Amare Stoudemire’s weird red/blonde patch in his minifro or the Knicks awful traffic cone orange alternates.
